Charles & his wife Sanya Lawrence

Charles passed away in May, 2020, of Covid-19.

The filmmakers of IT'S A HARD TRUTH AIN'T IT will never forget Charles and send thoughts and prayers to his loved ones.

With the help of the help of Charles' collaborators and friends, two of the co-directors wrote commemorations of Charles and his indelible spirit, warmth, and committment to others.

Read Al'Jonan's poem "When I think of Chuck" here, and Madeleine's remembrance here.
